Shop Policies

Returns and Exchanges

We gladly accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations:

  • If you are unhappy with your purchase we will gladly accept returns.
     

  • You must notify us in writing at info@poetandcrow.com of your intent to return your purchase within 2 calendar days of receipt. Buyer is responsible for cost of return plus insurance and seller is not liable for any lost or stolen items the buyer is returning.
     

  • Items must be returned in their original, unused condition within 7 days of receipt. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
     

  • Refunds will be issued within 3-5 business days after the item is received in our studio.
     

  • Please allow 7-10 days for the credit to reflect on your original payment method.
     
  • Custom Orders: Please note that we do not accept returns on custom orders.

    We want you to be happy with your jewelry! Please contact us if you have any issues or concerns. 

Payment Methods

We accept payment from PayPal, PayPal Credit, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also offer/accept gift cards. All payments on our site are secure.

Shipping/ Handling

  • Shipping Carrier:  All orders are shipped via USPS first class or priority mail.
     

  • Processing Time: We ship orders on Wednesday and Saturday. We can ship more urgently for an additional processing fee. Contact us at info@poetandcrow.com to inquire.
     

  • Service Area: We currently only ship within the US and to Canada. We will consider shipping outside of these locations on a case-by-case basis. To inquire about shipping to an area outside of the US or Canada, please contact us directly at: info@poetandcrow.com
     

  • Responsibility/Liability: Once a package leaves our hands it is the buyers responsibility. We are not responsible if a package is lost in transit or stolen from your mail receptacle.
     

  • Package Insurance: If you would like to add insurance to your order for an additional cost, please contact us prior to checking out. 
     

  • Tracking: We will provide you with the tracking information once the purchase is processed for shipping. Please also provide your telephone number and email address to order so you can be updated on your package status automatically by the carrier.
     

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $200 (pre-tax) are eligible for free shipping via USPS with tracking and insurance.
     

Repairs/ Resizing

  • Repairs: We do not perform jewelry repairs in our studio unless the item you have received from us has become damaged during normal wear and tear within a reasonable amount of time. You must notify us in writing at info@poetandcrow.com of your repair request and send photos of the damage so we may determine if it can or can't be repaired. Shipping in both directions will be the responsibility of the customer. Please do not return items without contacting our studio first.
     

  • Resizing Rings: We do not resize rings in our studio. When purchasing a ring, please know your size before you order. We provide the size of the ring in the item description.If you do not know your ring size, you can purchase an at home ring sizer on Amazon. If your ring does not fit you can return it in its original condition for a full refund less shipping, or, exchange it for a different size, if available. Please keep in mind that the majority of our pieces are one-of-a-kind and are not typically made in multiple sizes. You may also exchange the ring for another item in the shop.

Custom Pieces

  • While most of our pieces are "ready to ship," meaning, they are already created and available for purchase in our online shop, we will on occasion accept an order for a custom piece. Please contact us directly to inquire about ordering a custom-made piece of jewelry. Please allow at least 3 weeks for custom orders to be filled. Custom orders are not returnable or exchangeable. Custom orders require a 50% deposit of final estimated cost of the product and are non-refundable if the customer fails to perform on final payment or elects to cancel the order.

    Changes to a custom order must be conveyed to Poet and Crow within 5 days of deposit receipt. No alterations will be permitted after 5 days.
